What's in a Name?

I guess that by now you must be wondering what the hell fey regatta means. My apologies for I just can’t seem to suppress my urge to use weird and imaginative titles.

No, it is not somebody’s name and it is not a place you might find in a map either. In fact, it is just made up of two words which don’t really have anything to do with each other. Fey means magical or supernatural and a regatta is some kind of boat race. Put them together and you get a phrase that means “magical boat race.”

As you delve deeper into my thoughts, you might discover that it is a vast ocean of swirling, unorganized matter. Treat this blog as your vessel; the boat that will ferry your across my chaotic sea of thought.

The subtitle “A journey across the proverbial waters of my mind…” is just another blunt way of using one of my favorite phrases, “proverbial waters.” No need to further explain, I already said that my mind is a sea of thought, right?

So I leave you to ponder over my first ever entry as I retire to bed without completing a single academic task I set out to do. You are always welcome to come back and read more. Remember, keep your hands and legs inside the vehicle until it comes to a complete stop. Maybe then you can leave your comments after that.
